March seems to be the month to be ultra visible… so here is a bit more about me…
#marchmeetthemaker #meettheartist
I paint in soft pastels drawing inspiration from nature’s raw beauty, its flora, fauna, trees, landscapes and more. Contact me if you wish to purchase my original works on paper. If you wish to own a piece of my work but find originals out of your price range, there is a large collection of Fine art prints available of my soft pastel paintings.

I create hand painted and hand dyed silk scarves in long and square. I use a combination of techniques, some are based on traditional Japanese methods with my own twist. I use professional French steam fixed dyes which retain wonderful vibrant colours when fixed. I offer a bespoke service if customers would like a scarf created as a gift or to match an outfit for a special occasion.

Mixed media textile art is one of my great loves. Silk is my preferred fabric to work with, you will see it used in a variety of my creations both 2 and 3 dimensional. Again nature is my inspiration as I layer silks, wool and other textiles, adding embellishments to create one of a kind pieces of colourful wall art.

Photography plays a vital role too in my work and I do offer a selection of my images as photographic prints for purchasing.

As I evolve as an artist and creative, there are other works emerging: mixed media textured pieces, oil painting and mono printing are a few I am dabbling in. Follow me around the web and you will see my work, you will also notice there are many crossovers as my work is interwoven across the use of materials.
In collaboration with my daughter, we created Wildly Created as a marketplace for our unique hats and other wearable accessories. Under this umbrella, I create gorgeous silk and mixed media hats and fabric wrist cuff bracelets. This is an evolving business and it is well worth browsing our collections regularly to see new lines.
